Zaanhof

Zaanhof is the best example of application of a Garden city as they were build in the begining of the 20th century. The small entrance is almost hidden and opens on a courtyard with many trees. All houses are facing the green in the middle. It looks like life is pleasent here.

Zaanhof est le meilleur exemple de ce qu’on appelle une cité-jardin telle qu’on en construisait au début du XXème siècle. Une petite entrée dérobée donne sur une cour plantée d’arbres. Les maisons font face à cette verdure et on a l’impression que la vie y est très agréable.
