Brouwersgracht warehouses
Brouwergracht neans canal of the brewers. As often in this area, many houses are former 17th century warehouses. I wonder if they still store beer in these houses.
Brouwergracht signifie canal des brasseurs. Comme partout dans ce quartier du nord du Jordaan, de nombreuses maisons sont en fait d’anciens entrepôts du XVIIème siècle. Je me demande s’ils y stockent toujours de la...

The red wall
The red wall. It looks like a climbing wall but when you look closer, it’s a bit slippery, it’s all made of steel. This art piece has been put here in Amsterdam Noord by Alfred Eikelenboom in 1987. A kind of wall he likes to put in public places.

A tradition that comes from other older districts of Amsterdam, that gives a taste of green in a very concrety district. Le quartier K d’Amsredam Zuidoost...
