Koninginnedag
Today is Queens day. no bike in town, to much crowd. The entire city is packed with Orange people.
Aujourd’hui c’est la fête de la reine, pas de vélo en ville parce que trop de monde. La ville est toute pleine de de gens en orange.

Riekermolen
I am in front of a windmill, just to show I’m a Dutch bike. This wildmill is named the Riekermolen. One of 8 Amsterdam’s windmills.
Là je suis devant un moulin. c’est pour montrer que je suis un vélo hollandais. Ce moulin c’est le Riekermolen. un des 8 moulins d’Amsterdam.

Next to a Canal
So, here I am next to a canal. There are a lot of canals in this city and this one is quite wild and herbaceous. You can’t believe I am just next to one of the biggest building in Amsterdam…
Bon bien là c’est moi, devant un canal de la ville. Il y a plein de canaux dans la ville, celui là est un peu sauvage, on dirait pas qu’il est à deux pas d’une des tours les plus hautes d’Amsterdam…

Berlage is a famous XXth century architect from Amsterdam. This is a work from Hildo Krop, a sculptor who often worked with Berlage.
Berlage est un architecte Amstelodamois du XXe siècle. Il est à l’origine de l’école d’Amsterdam. Cette statue est l’œuvre d’Hildo Krop, un sculpteur qui a souvent travaillé avec Berlage.
